  • The Sony PlayStation 4 Pro is up again for cheaps in Malaysia

If you don't have access to it, though, no worries - EuroGamer claims to have a list of some of the upcoming features, the first being that aforementioned ability to stream video on Twitch at a high resolution and game rate.

The new firmware update is also overhauling the Master Account/Sub Account System.

As of now, users can select only a few accounts to follow, including those of developers and YouTube personalities.

Here's a collection of 10 exclusive PS4 games coming to the console in 2017, 2018 and beyond which we can't wait to play! According to the update notes, Sony is doing this to "encourage more sharing of content and more interactions" among players and "boost the viral potential of UGC" for developers. There will be settings to prevent non-friends from following you, and users can be blocked as well.

In addition to this, it's also rumoured that the 5.0 update will heavily feature new measures so Players can better manage "sub" or child accounts. Moreover, family accounts now support multiple adult accounts that can act as parent or guardian to sub accounts.

Another big change, for all PS4 owners rather than just Pro owners, is that it'll be possible to follow any user account and not just verified and official accounts.

PlayStation 4 firmware update 5.0 isn't out the wild yet but information on it has been come out ahead of time.

Lastly, with 5.0, system notifications will be visible from your Quick Menu so you don't need to head back to your Home screen.

There are some other, smaller changes that won't affect users too much at all - though the inclusion of new languages like Czech, Thai, Greek, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Romanian and Hungarian will be welcomed by people who speak them.

A public release date for the 5.0 firmware has yet to be announced, but it'll likely arrive in the near future along with a refreshed PlayStation app that will see improved designs and performance.

So why is Sony suddenly applying such changes?
